FAQs

  • How big an area does one unit cover?

    Medicair® has a maximum measured throughput of 600m3/hour (+/- 10%)*. The effectiveness of the unit within a specific area depends on a number of factors including the volume of your room and the type of environment. 

    The MedicAir® unit however will only need to operate at 20-30% capacity in order to purify the air due to its extremely powerful maximum capacity. Throughput can also be adjusted pre-emptively with a wireless remote or adjusts accordingly with ReAKT technology if it detects more pollutants in the air, meaning you never need to worry about the air quality in your space. You can monitor the air quality through a connected app on your smart device.

  • How often does the filter need replacing and what is the cost?

    The MedicAir® filter change is a very easy process that can be completed in around 2 minutes. 

    The filter replacement cartridges integrate all the associated technologies into one replacement unit - this needs to be replaced between every 6-12 months and costs £150 inc VAT and delivery (UK only). 

  • Where should I place my MedicAir® unit?

    We recommend placing the unit 20cm away from the wall, in the room that you want to purify. This ensures a 360 degree throughput and Venturi airflow for optimal air circulation.

  • How long will it take for my MedicAir® unit to arrive?

    Due to exceptionally high levels of demand, please contact our team today to find out the current expected delivery times.

  • How do I return my MedicAir® unit?

    If you need to return your MedicAir® unit, we will come and collect it from you directly. To organise collection, simply email us on info@medicairhealth.co.uk or call our team on 01932320064 between the hours of 9am - 6pm (if outside of these hours please leave a message and we will get back to you as soon as we possibly can).

  • How will I return my MedicAir® if I no longer have the box it arrived in?

    As long as your unit is in perfect condition, we can organise for your unit to be collected (even if you haven't kept the box it arrived in).
